When we were initially briefed we automatically came up with some ideas for the concept of tea time. Emma came up with the idea of using bourbons as dominos which made me think of a scene in one of my favourite films called The Road to El Dorado (Figure 1). The scene shows one of the main characters touching a coin which leads to a big domino effect resulting in an image being revealed from the fallen down pieces. We also created a Pinterest board between us (Figures 2 and 3) with some images that we though were aesthertically pleasing and found inspiring when thinking about the set design for the video in terms of the back drop and overall layout. We already knew that we wanted to use a bright, fun pink colour scheme which was initially inspired by Party Rings. These visuals were also the inspiration which we had for the aesthetic of the zine.
