Illustrations for content

As this booklet is for children I felt is was important to use illustration to make it have more of a friendly feel to it and also to make it more engaging. I therefore created different illustrations that would be used alongside the different activities that I chose to use for the content. 

For grabbing a drink of water I created an illustration of a glass if water. I have altered the design a small amount to see which would be best. This first has no outline on the water and the surface of the water is slightly darker than the rest. The second is that same but has an outline and the last one just uses the same blue for both the surface and the rest of the water. 

For the 54321 Grounding Exercise I created different illustrations for each of the senses. I was very happy with the way that all the illustrations turned out. I looked at the eye with and without the use of an outline around the design. 

For the activity where they have to name animals for each letter of the alphabet I created a few illustrations of different animals as seen above which will be put on the page to introduce the activity.
