OUGD504 - Guide Book Presentation

Guide Book Presentation

These gym stereotypes are ones that I have been informed of from working at a gym for over 3 years now. I tried to come up with a list of the majority of the people which I have thought to be interesting and comical characters which could be used in the guide to add some humour. This would help to make the gym seem less intimidating. I want to draw these characters making the stereotypes over exaggerated and funny.

To add to the research that I did into stereotypes I looked online to find out the ones that come up a lot. These are the ones which I found to add to the characters which I have thought of from first hand experience.

These are the circuits which I developed with the help of one of the personal trainers who I work with. They range from easy to hard allowing the beginner to know where to start and how to progress.

This slide is an example of the pictures which I took of the personal trainer performing the correct moves and using the correct equipment to go alongside the circuits. This would allow the beginner to understand how to get started and making sure that they have the correct form meaning they do not hurt themselves.

The end of the presentation was showing the existing guides which I looked into and I went on to explain why mine would be different and what the market is missing.
