- Stick to using the characters and not the circuits and information. Even though the circuits are more informative it takes away the fun. Creating the stereotypes and exaggerating the characters will make the guide interesting and fun.
- Look at the aspects of the gym and stereotypes that are not talked about in the health and fitness guides. What are the unsaid rules of the gym/gym etiquette.
- When should the guide be read? Once you are a member, before the gym, in the gym?
- Could the guide make the gym more entertaining for people who aren't interested. Would it help to make it more interesting as well as less intimidating.
My Response
After being given my feedback I have decided to take the advice of my tutors and peers and stick to just illustrating the stereotypes. To incorporate the use of unwritten rules I could have rules to go with each character. The guide could be read in the gym meaning it would need to be quite small and inconspicuous so that it can be read discretely. This would allow it to almost be like a 'wheres wally' type publication.
