OUGD603 - Anyways Evaluation

Anyways Evaluation

The ‘Tea Time’ Ident successful responds to the brief as it follows the form of a standard 16:9 video and has a strong concept based on the idea that people commonly treat the time between the showing of two TV shows as a time to go and make a cup of tea and have a biscuit. The ident uses a successful Rube Goldberg machine and uses food due to the category allocated. The bright and vibrant visual style was taken from biscuits and their packaging meaning the outcomes had a relevant aesthetic.

This project was a collaboration between Sophie Rose, Hannah Rice and Emma Shuffleton. This project demonstrated a positive collaboration as a large body of work was developed in a short space of time showing the effectiveness of the teamwork of the group. The tasks to complete were delegated between every party equally meaning that more work could be produced in the short space of time than if one person had taken it all on.

With a bit more time to work on the video the Ident could have been a bit stronger as there hopefully would have been a few more successful clips. However, the work that was produced all met the guidelines of the brief and demonstrate that it is possible to create impressive outcomes even in a limited amount of time.
