Wayfinding Initial Ideas
An original idea I had for the map is the use of a super graphic that could be projected onto the floor of an area of leeds that is in the centre of all of the buildings that I have chosen to use for my project. Some inspiration for this came from looking into the London Festival of Architecture. The London festival of Architecture is a month-long event held in June, focusing on how important architecture and design is in London as it can be overlooked.

For my design using super graphics I wanted to use the silhouettes of each building in place of each of the rooms that are on the Cluedo board. These would be projected onto the floor and contain a clue as to what the building is. These clues would be a representation of the weapons that are used in the game. I thought it would be good if I could find a specific aspect on each building that I could use as the clue (weapon). I decided a specific architectural feature would be the best thing to use in my designs which can be seen in the drawings in the pictures. These are just the initial sketches of my designs in preparation for the first crit. I aimed to get one design for each building so that the group could give me feedback on what they thought worked and what they would do differently.
