When looking through the fairly recent posters that have been created for the Heinz brand they all follow a very similar pattern of the use of photography against a red background. They are all quite simplistic designs that are clean and clear as to what message they are trying to portray. When thinking about my ideas for the campaign I very quickly decided photography was the medium I wanted to use as it would be consistent with the rest of the Heinz campaigns and it is one that I am comfortable using. I wanted to step away from the use of the red background however as I felt that the use of the red on white could make the ketchup stand out even more to the viewer.
