About Aubrey and Oakes
Aubrey and Oakes is mens luxury underwear brand. The company founder is called Sam Astle and he has worked with a few different people to develop the company to where it is today.
When choosing the material to make the underwear out of the company spent a lot of time working on finding a material that was comfortable and would make men feel special.
The material that they chose to use for the underwear is Bamboo. Bamboo was chosen a the material because it has many pros. It is antibacterial so therefore boasts deodorising properties and is also anti-static which means it is super soft when it comes into contact with the skin. Bamboo material is incredibly light and soft but due its durability is also retains its shape extremely well. Bamboo is hydroscopic so it can absorb more moisture than most fabrics and has thermo-control meaning it maintains warmth due to its hollow microfiber but also keeps you cool due to its breathable nature. Finally Bamboo is extremely environmentally friendly as its the fastest growing plant in the world and offer an extensive list of sustainability. Unlike other crops bamboo requires no pesticides or fertilisers to flourish, it is biodegradable and can propagate purely from rainwater.
The underwear is produced in one of the last remaining British knitting mills that ave produced high-end bespoke fabrics since 1976.
The company makes three different styles of underwear. The No.047, No.017s and No.077s. The No.047s are a traditional boxer brief style, the No.017s posses the customers favourite keyhole opening and the No.077s include two buttons on the front of the underwear.

The company also offers a long legged range for customers who desire extended support and comfort beyond a traditional boxer brief.
The company also spend a lot of time developing their packaging to ensure that the underwear is packed appropriately. They felt the luxury presentation packaging is far superior to traditional plastic packaging used in the industry. This could be thought of as excessive but they believe first impressions are vital and the packaging is representative of the underwear which is inside.
They spent a total of two years testing multiple patterns, fabrics and stick configurations with the primary focus of creating a product that is desirable to both men and women. They wanted to eliminate common discomfort issues that are found in cheap underwear.
The underwear comes in sizes, X Small to X Large.
