High End Mens Clothing Brands:

Christos

Figure 3

Christo as seen in Figure 1 is a high end mens clothing brand. The design that is used for the website is a similar design to one that I hope to achieve when creating the website for Aubrey and Oakes. The design is clean cut and neat. This gives the impression of a professional company when looked at by a viewer. The use of a san serif typeface for the web design shows that it is a modern company. This contrasts the use of a serif typeface for the logo, however the use of tight kerning gives the serif typeface a more modern feel. The way that the clothes are displayed on the website as seen in Figure 2 is a very minimalistic design, this means that the different variations of clothing and categories are easily noticeable. The clean cut design also makes it easy to navigate around the website and find exactly what you are looking for. Figure 3 shows the link to the companies instagram which is present at the bottom of the page. I like the way that this allows the viewer to go straight to their instagram account and view the items of clothing that have caught their interest in a different context to help with their decision.

Harvey Nichols

The Harvey Nichols website combines a lot of different high end male brands all in one place. This website is not as minimalistic as what I am thinking for the design but I wanted to look at is as an example because it's another website that promotes luxury brands. The design is still quite minimalistic and once again uses a very small amount of colour. The website is also very clear and easy to understand where to go to find the products that you need.
