After my different discussions from the crits I decided to stick with the original colour scheme for the book which I had thought about which was the colour scheme from the fever tree tonics. However I decided not to use this all throughout the book and only for the tonic section as I didn't want things to get confused. I therefore would use the actual colours of the fruits for the fruits and then for the gin bottles it is the outline of the bottle that I've decided to represent them meaning that I can just use black and not involve more colour to overwhelm the reader.
The image above shows the colours taken from the fever tree tonics which will be the colour scheme for the tonic section.
The images above show the illustrations of the fruits and the colour swatch which was taken from these illustrations. I will be using this colour scheme for the section using the fruits.
Both of these colour swatches with be used in the section which includes the recommended combinations as both the tonic and fruits are necessary in this section.
