OUGD504 - Digital Wireframe

Digital Wireframe:

When making the digital wireframe I used the ones which I had drawn and went into more detail with each page and how the website would function as a whole.

This page is the first one that appears when you go to the website. I thought that it could be a short slideshow which you click through before you get to the main website. This would mean that the viewer would get a bit of a feel for what the company is about before entering the main part of the website.

Once the user has clicked through the slide show they will come to the Home page. As the brand is a lot about where they have come from and what they are about I thought that it was important for this page to be more about the company than to go straight into the shopping. This page would include all of the content that I have been sent by Sam about the company and their policies.

The menu page will be able to be accessed from every other page in the website from the top left hand corner in order to make it easy for the user to move around the website and flick to other pages if they need to. The only links that are needed in the menu at the moment are Home, Shop, Shipping and Returns and Contact Us, however if the company were to develop more pages would be able to be added.

The first page that you come to when you click on shop will have the different styles of underwear that the company has to offer. This will allow the user to click onto the style that they wish to look at. The first style will be underneath this option. The products will be laid out in rows across the page and the user will be able to click on the one that they are interesting in and have a closer look.

This is the same as the one above but for a different style to demonstrate how it will work.

Again this is the same but for a different style to demonstrate how it will work.

When the user clicks onto one of the products it will take them to a page that has all of the details about that product and will give them the option to add the product to their bag. This will then put the product into their shopping bag which can also be accessed from the top right hand corner of every page.

This is the lower part of the page that has all of the product details. At the bottom of this page it will also show you what you have recently viewed in case you change you mind and want to go back and have a look at a recently viewed product.

The website will need to include details about the shipping and returns policy of the company in order to comfort customers and reassure them that the company is legit. This can also be used as a reference by the customers if they were to have any issues with the delivery or were in need of returning a product.

The website will also need to include a page that will give customers all the information that they need about getting in touch with the company if they had any feedback or issues. On this page I also want to include links to the brands Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. This will allow customers to see more of what the company has to offer.

The final page that I am going to design for the website is the shopping bag page. This page is accessed in the top right hand corner from every other page on the website. This page allows the user to view the items that they have placed in their bag and make any changes which they need to before checking out and making a purchase.

The video above roughly shows how I initially expect the website to flow using the wireframes.
