Initial Designs:
I went through the digital wireframes with my peers and one of my tutors in order to get feedback for the pages I had chosen to include before I started to design. When talking it through we talked about the idea that had been suggested of having to go through the information because getting to the website that would work in the same way as having to be undressed before seeing underwear. I thought that this idea was good concept wise but I did think that it was a little suggestive which isn't what the brand would be trying to promote. I also thought that not all users might be interested in flicking through the information and might get annoyed if they cant get where they want to quick enough. I therefore decided to scrap the idea of a slideshow page. Once I had had this discussion I started to look at designing the other pages which had been talked about.
The screenshot below shows the pages that I initially started to design. I started with designing the top of the web page that will be seen from every page as it includes the brand name, menu bar and the shopping bag. As it is a very minimalistic and clean design that my client is wanting I decided that the best thing would be to keep this background white. This is because the use of a clean white background compliments the concept of a luxury brand. I wanted the top of the first page to have a sliding bar which included pictures of the companies workshop and the development photographs of the underwear and packaging. This is because I thought that this way a way to include the images that I wanted to without the user having to click through them to see them but they are there to look at if they wanted to see them. This would be the Home page that could be accessed from the menu and would also be the first page that you come to. It will be a page which you can scroll down to find out more information about the company if you were interested but you could also skip past this and go straight to shopping if you wanted to.
The second page that I started to design was the first Shop page which you come to when you click on the option in the menu bar. This page needed to include the different options of style that could be bought on the website which I included just under the bar at the top of the page. The small amounts of added detail in lines is in the very faint green colour which had been used for the symbols I was given in the content. This is so that it doesn't clash or over power the images but is also representative of products made of bamboo which the company sells. At this stage this page is still using boxes as a representation of where the images will go as there aren't any of the promotion images for the company yet.
