I decided to go with the idea of design a website for an upcoming luxury mens underwear brand called Aubrey and Oakes. This is because when discussing the ideas with my tutor it was decided that this would be more personal and was something different from the norm. It would allow me to get client feedback and to have experience designing a website that could eventually go into the real world. This therefore means that I have a client for the brief and have been given a lot of content which needs to be sorted and made into a functional website. This also means that I have a brand to work with that has specific colours and typefaces already looked at meaning that I need to focus on finding a way for it all to work in an aesthetically pleasing and functional way together.
Typeface: Garamond 3 LT Std
Colour Scheme: Black, White and Pale Green
Seen above is all of the content which I have been given at this stage ranging from photographs of the underwear to the symbols used to explain certain aspects of each pair. There are also photographs of the workshop and the logo that has been previously designed for Aubrey and Oakes. I want to try and include as much of the content as I can in order to incorporate a detailed idea of the brand and what it is about as this is very important to my client.
