In the creation of my screen print I did experience a lot of difficulties which I had to overcome in order to get my print done. I found it very difficult to apply the emulsion as I had not done this before and also had extra emulsion dripped onto my screen meaning I had to wash it and start again. Although these issues made the process longer I am pleased with the final outcome. I think that the green layer I decided to use adds some depth to the print. The print is also more personal as it was specifically created in memory of Adam Bojelian. I think this gives the print a deeper meaning which it wouldn't necessarily have if it wasn't about an event that was as different and unexpected as Adam Bojelians story. The use of the bold wording and the blinks over the top make the print more interactive as the combination creates a sentence which makes sense. When being given feedback from my peers it became clear that they thought that the concept of the print was very strong and liked the use of multiple layers. If I were to revisit this brief in the future I would work more on making the background typography more interesting. I think that this would help for the print to look more interesting as a whole because without the extra layer the print needs a little more interest. Overall I am happy with the outcome of the print as it successfully represents the event which I wanted to make people aware of.
