I think that as a group we have successfully created a branding for the screen print exhibition that works in response to the brief. I think that we have got a well rounded concept and managed to keep consistency across the whole of the products that have been created for our brand.
I think that the production method of using screen printing for our posters, flyer's and catalogue cover are extremely complimentary of the exhibition as they represent the traditional printing methods that have been used for the pieces being displayed in the exhibition.
The products and overall identity that we produced are evidence that as a group we worked well and efficiently came to decisions together. We have showed that we are able to work as a team and keep good communication between the group in order to get the work done that was needed to present.
The work that I contributed to the group work showed consistency and fitted the brand and the identity efficiently. I successfully created social media that would allow us to advertise the exhibition and wayfinding that would help the public to find where they needed to go to get there.
If I were to return to this brief in the future I would take more pictures of the library space in order to create more accurate mock up designs for the wayfinding. This would give a more realistic idea of what we wanted it to look like leading up to and inside of the library. I would also make sure that the gifs were added into the social media to help to grab the attention of people even more.
Overall, I have really enjoyed working in a group and have found it a rewarding experience to have the opportunity to collaborate with some of my peers. I think that it has helped me to progress as a designer as I have learned from my peers and experienced a different way of working. I would definitely like the opportunity to do a group project again in the future as I think that it would continue to help me to learn and progress.
