1. 3 penguin book cover design on books of my choice using the Marber Grid.
2. A a1 poster for an exhibition of my choice - fiction or non-fiction.
Think about the layout and positioning of the images and text.
Use of specific aspects and layouts.
Margins - the edge or border of something.
Column - a vertical division of a page or text.
Sub-heads - a heading given to a subsection of a piece of writing.
Paragraph - a distinct section of a piece of writing.
Gutters - the blank space between facing pages of a book or between adjacent columns of type or stamps in a sheet.
Images - an optical appearance or counterpart produced by light from an object reflected in a mirror or refracted through a lens.
Captions - a title or brief explanation accompanying an illustration, cartoon, or poster.
DPS (Double page spread) - Two printed pages that face each other.
Drop caps - A large initial letter that drops below the first line of a paragraph, usually used at the beginning of a section or chapter of a book.
Headlines - a heading at the top of an article or page in a newspaper or magazine.
Measures - a standard unit used to express the size, amount, or degree of something.
Rules - the normal or customary state of things.
Boxes - an area or space enclosed within straight lines.
Folio Numbers - a pair of facing pages in the ledger with the same serial number.
Pagination - the sequence of numbers assigned to pages in a book or periodical.
Imposition - the imposing of pages of type/a particular arrangement of imposed pages.
