For the group crit session I decided it would be best to show everything I have so far for each brief to gain feedback and find out how I could progress in every brief.
Dogs Trust Brief:
Consider comparing the dogs trust dogs to new puppies and focusing on how the ethics behind breeding new puppies is bad.
Rescue dogs already have a story and a personality. You can add to their story and give it a happier ending. The relationship with a rescue dog is different to getting a puppy, its like gaining a friend rather than raising a child.
Penguin Book Cover:
Out of all of the ideas I had for the book cover design the group thought that I should go for the plaster idea. This is because there is a deeper meaning behind the design and it also links to the author and some of her history.
Luke Holland Logos:
Spend more time with the client and learning about what it is he does. Look at ideas together to gain a better understanding of what it is that he wants from the logos.
