Design Development
Once we had done some research and looked into existing dance school logos we had decided it would be best to use more colour within the logo and make it appear more friendly and eye catching for children. The first image shows the drawing which me and Ella came up with after careful consideration.
I then put this logo into Illustrator and vectorised the logo. Ella had asked me to do the logo in pink, blue, purple and white. The white one wouldn't have an outline however for it to show up against the white background I added an outline so it could be seen for the purpose of the blog. This logo is much more similar to the ones that we looked at when conducting the research and therefore is much more representative of the academy.
I sent these logos over to Ella and she agreed that this design was better for the image that she was trying to give her dance school. It is a lot more friendly and welcoming. This is therefore very representative of the dance school because anyone is welcome to go along and join in.
