OUGD503 - Collaboration Flyer

Flyer

For the flyer we decided that there only needs to be the most important information needed to promote and sell the show as if we over packed it with information people might not take the time to read it. We decided to include the logo, the date and time, the location and the price of the tickets. We also felt that it was important to include the Lupus UK logo due to the show being in support of this charity and one of the reasons that we hoped people would come to see the show. We made sure that we used the same colour scheme that was used for the ticket in order to make sure that the brand identity is continuing to stay the same and show consistency across all of the outcomes we have developed. The flyer will be screen printed at A5 which is another reason that they need to be minimal and only include clear information on them for us to gain a successful print. For the typeface Emma used Halyard Display as this one of the typefaces used within the dance show logo.

You can see in the images above that Emma experimented a lot with the layout. She changed the sizing of the logo and also the placing of all the information. As the images show, we kept to the decision that we had made to use a limited amount of information on the flyers to make sure that they are not to overwhelming and will be clear to whoever is reading them. After lots of experimenting with the layout the final design can be seen below.

We chose this as the final design because we thought it was important to add a little information about the show. We realised that the name of the show doesn't make it clear as to what the show is about so the last piece of information that we added to the design was 'street meets contemporary, breaking stereotypes'.
