Development for Merchandise
After the main logos had been created, Ella had started to get the logos printed onto posters, t-shirts, banners, etc. She then sent me a message saying that she want the logo to be able to be printed onto dance leggings but the shape that the logo was at the moment wasn't the right shape. This is because she wanted them to be printed along one of the legs of the leggings. An example of the sort of design she was hoping for can be seen in the image below.
I therefore had to alter the original design slightly so that it would be the right shape to fit onto a pair of leggings. To do this, I took the "stars" part of the logo from underneath the "Styles" and moved it to be inline instead. The edited design can be seen below. This design is very similar to the original so that there is no confusion that its a different company but is now a design that would work for the merchandise that Ella was hoping to print onto. I created a quick mock up to show an example of how this will look when the logo is placed onto a pair of the leggings in order to give Ella a clear image to decide whether it was what she wanted or not. She was very pleased with the outcome and has taken this design to print onto the leggings.
