Chosen Idea:
After discussing with my peers which idea would be the most appropriate and interesting response to the brief I decided that the best root to go down would be to create an app. This idea would successfully respond to the brief as it is keeping up with the modern world and the new ways in which people are now purchasing dogs rather than going to shelters.
Aim:
To create a 'tinder' style app for Dogs Trust dogs.
Rationale:
An app that encourages people to have a look at rescue dogs and chose to re-home one of them rather than purchasing a brand new puppy online. It is a way to find the perfect friend with ease. All you have to do is swipe through the dogs and when you see one you like you can find out more by clicking on their profile and giving them a like. Once you have liked a dog you can get in touch and pay them a visit, hopefully choosing to take the pup home. This app is allows you to see dogs that already have stories to tell, personalities to get on with and find out about their behaviours and backgrounds. By using this app and rehoming a rescue dog you can find the perfect companion to fit into you life exactly how you would want. Unlike brand new puppies you will know exactly what you are getting. This is not like raising a baby; its gaining a friend for life.
