These are some performing arts school logo that already exist. When looking at these logos, it initially became very clear that the use of colour is extremely important when designing a dance school logo. They are much more colourful and eye catching than the original design that me and Ella had been working on. These logos are not necessarily the style of design that I would usually choose to create. This was therefore going to be a bit of a challenge for me as I wouldn't be creating something that is a similar style to the way I normally design. These designs are a lot more colourful and less clean. When I showed these logos to Ella, the one that she liked the most was the "Rubarb" logo design. It still had the use of colour and appeared fun but was not using too much colour therefore making it look less professional. She had decided that it was important for the logo to be eye catching for children as they are the market that the dance school will be catering for. However, it is also important that the logo projects a certain amount of professionalism as the parents need to take it seriously. We therefore looked at designing something more along these lines.
