For the ticket it was first important to figure out exactly what information needed to go onto the ticket and then the design would be able to progress from there. We also new that it was important to stick to the same use of colour that we had decided on for the scheme across the whole of the branding.
The information that we decided needed to be put on the ticket isn't necessarily the final confirmed information, it is just a simple filler text that is a accurate estimation.

The above pictures show the development stages of the ticket and how it progressed to the final design that we chose which is the last image of the list. After playing around with the layout, we decided it was best to centre all the information and put it in a hierarchy which included all of the important information that was necessary to include on the ticket; name, date, time, location and seat. Emma tried this both with and without the circle around the logo. She also experimented with swapping the colours around so that the main ticket colour was purple and the part that is torn off is white. We decided this worked better due to the ticket being the part that the visitor keeps and this would be better due to the colour purple being what represents our chosen charity and the show. We also decided that it would be best to keep the circle around the logo due to this being our actual logo hence it representing the dance show in a much stronger way. We thought it could have been too confusing if we changed the logo as there was a slight chance that people might not recognise that its the same event as all the extra advertisement.
