Further Development
After the main basis of the finalised logo had been designed Ella had decided that she wanted some variations that she could work with that would include some slogans that she had decided on for the academy. She had developed the theme of her dance academy to a fairy school. She therefore wanted some designs that involved a bit more detail that could be used as banners or posters around the school. She wanted the lines "fairies in the making" and "pixies in the making" to be present within the designs. She also asked for the fairies to be pink and the pixies to be blue. She had asked for more stars to be put into the design as well.
This design was a lot more over the top that what I am used to designing so I therefore found it quite difficult to put all of these elements together in a way which I didn't think looked too crowded or messy. The above designs show the final outcomes which I had come up with. I decided to stick to using just one colour within each design so it wasn't too distracting from the main logo. I therefore added the stars to both designs using a colour gradient of blue for one and pink for the other. I then added the writing to each design in the same colour as the foreground star.
I showed Ella the designs and she was very pleased with them. I didn't need to make any further changes to them as they were exactly how she had wanted them to turn out.
